It is with great joy and excitement that I join you as the new School Director. From my very first visit to NBS, I was inspired by the vision and aspirations of the school’s owners, leaders, teachers, and students. The shared determination to make Nottingham British School the very best it can be—combining a commitment to excellence with a focus on nurturing each child’s unique skills and potential—made it immediately clear that this was where I wanted to continue my journey in education.

I am honoured that you have entrusted us with the responsibility for your children’s education and delighted to share this journey with you.

With over 30 years of experience as a teacher and school leader in the UK and Kuwait, I remain deeply passionate about the power of education to transform lives. For me, teaching is far more than a career—it is both a privilege and a calling. Being part of a child’s learning journey, and seeing them grow into confident, capable young people ready to make their mark on the world, is as rewarding today as it was when I first entered the classroom.

As I begin this new chapter with you, I look forward to working closely with students, staff, and families to help Nottingham British School build on its successes and continue to grow as a place where every child flourishes academically, socially, and personally. Most of all, I look forward to meeting you in person and shaping an exciting future together.
